About the Client

Yelo Bank is a commercial bank headquartered in Baku, Azerbaijan, tracing its roots back to 1994. The bank operates under a general banking license from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and offers a full range of retail and business banking services, including deposits, consumer and business loans, payment cards, and digital banking through its mobile app.

The Problem

Each month, Yelo Bank’s Finance Department prepares a management reporting presentation based on a significant volume of financial and performance data.

Turning the prepared reporting data into a structured management presentation required substantial manual effort: identifying and transferring the required figures, checking their consistency, updating presentation materials, and ensuring that the final output provided a clear and coherent view for management.

The presentation preparation process was repetitive and time-consuming. The opportunity was therefore to use AI to streamline this stage of management reporting, reduce repetitive manual work, and accelerate the production of a management-ready presentation.

How the Project Was Organized

The project was rolled out over five weeks.

The first week focused on reviewing the existing reporting files and presentation structure, understanding the reporting logic, and identifying the key data required for the management presentation.

In the second week, the team designed the data processing workflow and began developing an extensive reporting presentation with key findings, summaries, and management-level takeaways.

The third week was dedicated to developing the AI-driven logic powered by Claude — defining the rules and models that allow the solution to identify and process the required reporting values and translate them into the appropriate presentation structure.

In the fourth week, the automated presentation preparation process was tested in parallel with the existing approach, together with the bank’s team, to validate the results in practice.

The fifth week wrapped up the project, and the solution went live.
